SnakeClan History[]
SnakeClan was once a tribe, living in the mountains of Death Peaks long before today. They were lead by Snake, Bat, Mountain, Claw and Frost. Twolegs, greedy for land, one day brought their monsters and began destroying their territory without mercy. The mountains were ripped up excluding the one cave that the tribe lived in. Snake and Bat, who were very close friends, insisted that they leave the cave and start groups called Clans so that if one fell, not every cat would and that they could help each other in times of special need rather than each cat hunting for hundreds all day. Mountain and Frost obliged, but Claw was hesitant and finally gave his answer, which was to stay behind and perish, believing the idea was stupid. After hours of walking, avoiding the twolegs at any cost, they had finally reached a wonderful land where they could live. And so, SnakeClan, BatClan, MountainClan and FrostClan had risen from the darkness. FrostClan was the Clan to discover a passage that lead from the river canal to a starry pond that when used at night would grant only special cats nine lives and a right to lead. Every Clan leader journeyed to the water at the same time to receive new names and lives from a group of cats who called themselves StarClan. SnakeClan and BatClan held a steady alliance, as Snakestar and Batstar were friends in the cave and their territories were inside of each other, or at least until Batstar was killed by a sickness that the medicine cats called Greencough.
